Danish Agro appoints Jesper Pagh to key international role
Jesper Pagh, 48, joins Danish Agro Group with extensive experience from the agricultural sector. In his new role, he will contribute to the further development of one of the largest agribusiness groups in the Baltic Sea region.
Jesper Pagh will take up his position on 1 February 2026 as COO of Danish Agro Group’s Agribusiness International division, which brings together the Group’s international agricultural commodity activities.
The companies in Agribusiness International employs approximately 2,300 people and generates annual revenue of around EUR 3 billion. The division includes the agribusiness companies Hankkija, Swedish Agro, Ceravis, Polish Agro, Hungaria Agro, as well as Baltic Agro in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

As part of his new role, Jesper Pagh will initially take on a special assignment in the subsidiary Swedish Agro, where he will serve as interim Deputy CEO. Together with Björn Skogsberg, CEO of Swedish Agro, he will support the continued development of the Swedish agribusiness activities, where the aim is to increase both market share and profitability in the coming years.

Initially, my focus will be on the Swedish market, working closely with the local organisation,” says Jesper Pagh.
He joins Danish Agro after more than 20 years with the Danish DLG Group, which he left at the beginning of 2025. During his time at DLG, he held several senior management positions and was a member of the Group Executive Committee for the past four years.
According to Henning Haahr, Group CEO of Danish Agro, the appointment represents a significant strengthening of the Group’s leadership.

Jesper Pagh holds a Master of Science in Agriculture from the University of Copenhagen and has completed the General Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
