SPEED CHOP SC_F – a versatile cutting roller for sustainable agriculture

SPEED CHOP SC_F is a double-row cutting roller with 460 mm diameter rollers. It is used for fast and efficient cutting of catch crops. With a working width of 3, 4 and 6 metres, this roller offers high performance and quality work even in dense catch crops thanks to the double-roller system and the option of mounting additional weight.

This is a truly versatile tool. The SPEED CHOP SC_F roller can be connected to the front or rear tractor hitch so that it can be used alone or, for example, in combination with a DIRECTO NO no-till seed drill or a SWIFTERDISC XN or XO_F disc cultivator.

The robust frame design contributes to the high durability of the machine itself, which is ideal for working at high speeds to achieve a high cutting effect. The cutting rollers themselves are fitted with interchangeable blades made of high-strength steel. This design guarantees easy and quick replacement of individual blades in the case of wear or damage.

DURACUT TE – heavy cutting roller for processing of post-harvest residues and shallow soil cultivation.

The DURACUT TE is a heavy-duty cutting roller specially designed to process the toughest plant residues (e.g. after corn), to eliminate weeds and to mechanically kill pests. DURACUT TE is available in working widths of 7.5 and 12.5 metres. It is the ideal solution for large farms that want to optimize productivity when mechanically disposing of post-harvest residues or catch crops.

This cutting roller has been designed to offer high versatility. The roller weight can reach 1.24 tonnes per metre when filled with water (version with interchangeable blades). As a result, DURACUT TE provides optimum down pressure for better cutting performance and shallow soil cultivation even in the most difficult conditions. The V-shaped arrangement of the blades significantly increases the cutting effect.

Blades made of high-strength HARDOX steel
Each roller (diameter 940 mm) has independent suspension to the frame. This solution ensures excellent terrain contouring and uniform cultivation over the entire machine working width.
The cutting roller is fitted with HARDOX high-strength steel blades welded to the roller as standard. Optional equipment includes HARDOX steel blades – to guarantee their maximum durability and minimum wear, the interchangeable blades are made of HARDOX steel (the most recognized high-strength steel). The entire weight of the machine rests on the blade rollers when used in the field.
The DURACUT TE cutting roller is based on the concept of machines with two folding side frames. This concept lowers the number of hydraulic cylinders and lubrication points, guarantees that down pressure is kept on the side frames, while also providing compact transport dimensions (max. width 3 m, max. height 4 m). The 700/40-22.5 wide-profile tyres are an advantage, especially for smooth transport.

Both SPEED CHOP SC_F and DURACUT TE cutting rollers have a great economic benefit in the form of a minimal requirement for machine traction power and at the same time a high area power determined by the machine working width and high working speed.
